First Race – To start at 10:30 am
FOR ALL YOUTHS under 17 years of age, pulling
a pair of sculls, in light skiffs. First prize £5;
second prize, £2. Entrance, 5s.
Course – From flagship round flagboats off
Dovedale, and back to flagship.

Second Race – To start at 11 am
FOR ALL AMATEURS employed in offices, or as
indoor salesmen, pulling two pairs of sculls, in
light skiffs, with coxswain. Prize £7 7s (or trophy
of that value). Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – Same as first race.

Third Race – To start at 11:30 am
CHAMPION RACE for ALL COMERS, in
wager boats. Prize £50 (if two scullers from
any other colony, or Sydney, start); second prize
£10. Entrance, £2 2s. In the event of two
Sydney, or other colony, scullers not starting,
the prize will be £20; second prize £5.
Entrance £1 1s.
Course – From flagboats off Dovedale, round
flagboats off Fraser’s Sawmill, round flagboats
off Dovedale, and back to flagship.

Fourth Race – To start at 12 Noon.
FOR ALL YOUTHS, under 21 years of age, pulling
two pairs of sculls, in light skiffs, with coxswain.
First prize £7; second prize £2.
Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – Same as first race.

Fifth Race – To start at 12:30 pm.
FOR ALL COMERS who have never won a prize
exceeding £10 at any public regatta, pulling a
pair of sculls in light skiffs. First prize, £8;
second prize, £2. Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – from flagboats off Dovedale, round flag-
boats off Fraser’s Sawmill, and back to flagship.

Sixth Race – To start at 1 pm
FOR ALL AMATEURS employed in offices, or as
indoor salesmen, pulling a pair of sculls in light
skiffs. Prize £7 7s (or trophy of that value).
Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – Same as first race.

Seventh Race – To start at 2 pm
FOR ALL COMERS pulling a pair of sculls, in light
skiffs (handicapped). First prize, £25; second
prize, £5. Entrance £1 1s.
Course – From flagship, round flagboats off Dove-
dale, round flagboats off Fraser’s Sawmill, and
back to flagship.

Eight Race – To start at 2:30 pm
FOR ALL SKIFFS, under canvass, not exceeding
22 feet in length, 5 feet beam, and 20 inches
deep. Time allowance, half a minute per foot,
no boat to rank less than 19 feet. Centre-boards
and fins allowed. First prize, £10; second
prize £2. Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – from flagship, round flagboats off Dove-
dale, round flagship, round flagboats off Dove-
dale, and back to flagship.

Ninth Race – To start at 3 pm
FOR ALL COMERS who have never a prize at
any public regatta, pulling two pairs sculls, in
light skiffs, with coxswain. First prize £10;
second prize £2. Entrance 10s 6d.
Course – Same as fifth race.

Tenth Race – To start at 3:30 pm
FOR ALL SHIPS BOATS manned by crews from
any vessel in port, pulling four oars, with
coxswain. First prize, £5; second prize £2.
Entrance, FREE.
Course – from flagship, round flagboats off Dove-
dale, round flagboats off Fraser’s Sawmill,
and back to flagship.

Eleventh Race – To start at 4pm
FOR ALL COMERS pulling two pairs sculls, in
light skiffs, with or without coxswain. First
prize, £50; second prize £5. Entrance £2 2s.
Course – Same as seventh race.

Twelfth Race – To start at 4:30pm
FOR ALL COMERS paddling a cask. First
prize, £2; second prize £1. Entrance 2s 6d.
Course – once round the flagship. Conditions –
Competitors may use any description of cask,
but no fins or ballast of any kind will be allowed
to be attached thereto.
